Gift Card Admin Block

Gift Card Hero adds two blocks to Shopify admin:

• Gift Card Management on a gift card's detail page, to resend the card.
• Gift hero admin on an order page, to register physical gift cards. See Physical Gift Cards.

Adding the block to the gift card page

1. Navigate to Products → Gift cards in Shopify admin.
2. Select a gift card to open the detail view.
3. In the Blocks section, click Customize.
4. Find Gift Card Management (Gift Card Hero) in the list of blocks.
5. Click Add block and optionally Pin it for all staff.
6. Save your changes.

Notes

• An option shows (Unavailable) when the card has no such person, for example no recipient. The block then selects the first option that exists.
• With Send to the specified email, the address is looked up among your customers, and a customer is created if none exists. The card's own recipient is not changed by the send.
• The send goes through Shopify's own gift card notification, so the email is the one set in Settings → Notifications → Customer notifications → Gift card created.
• The block does not keep a history or comments.
